Directorate of Research and Industrial Development (DRID)

The ESIEA Directorate of Industrial Research and Development’s main function is to organize and promote research activities within the group may this research be either conducted directly in laboratories or in the context of graduate teaching activities in our group, particularly in the two speciality masters (NIS and SIS) awarded by the ESIEA group.

The DRDI includes, to date, five major laboratories :

  • In Paris (Vésale site) :
  • Le The ATIS laboratory (Information and Signal Acquisition Processing).
  • Le The ARNUM aboratoiry (Numeric Art).
  • Le The SI&S laboratory (Security of Information and Systems).
  • In Laval (Mayenne) :
  • Le The RVSE laboratory (Virtual Reality and Embedded Systems).
  • Le The (V + C)O laboratoiry (Operational cryptology and Virology).
  • As part of this mission to support research, DRID’s main objective is :

  • to enhance the production technology for enterprises, especially through contracts and participation in patents,
  • to organize, develop and streamline the publication process,
  • as part of our approval CGE / CTI, continually updating the content of training (engineers and specialized masters) through the expertise acquired and developed by the teams. This includes the association of students in research projects (research training),
  • to develop towards the research teams and towards our students, a true culture of security, in conjunction with the national competent offices,
  • to develop the human resources (faculty and students).
